After helping us complete process documentation and create policy manuals, Jack, Robin, and their team built and deployed our business ERP software in 2014. Jim, Jack, and their colleagues created a Veterinary Comparison app for us in 2016. That app automated the calculation and presentation of data for the special service we provide to our Veterinary clients. Our customized service allows our clients to benchmark themselves against their peers. With our clients' very positive response to this app, we asked for a Dairy Comparison app in 2021. Now, two of our major client groups are receiving the value of specialized benchmarking information.

Rick Baker spoke at our Rotary club, Kitchener Westmount on Wednesday April 19th, 2023. The title of his presentation was “Riding the Eye of the Tech Hurricane.”: The exponential growth of computing power, the advancement in Artificial Intelligence and the impact it is having on society, business and humanity is unprecedented.

Rick gave a very informative overview of some of these impacts on small to medium business organizations.

The presentation was well received by our club members, several of whom had interesting questions about AI and how it is affecting their vocations.

Rick presented “Riding the Eye of the Tech Hurricane” to our Rotary club on June 9th. His presentation provided brief introductions to several technology advancements. Rick also shared his insights when he answered our club members’ questions about cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and the future of nuclear energy in Ontario.

Rick Baker’s presentation to our business members enlightened us on current Information System trends. We were specifically appreciative of his comments regarding cybersecurity risks and coping with AI.
